"BACK EAST" TO-DO LIST

As you all know, Cory and I are spending our first summer of being married, living in Virginia! Well, there is so much to do here and literally NO TIME to do it, so we've decided to make a to-do list to get it all going. If you didn't know I don't function well without a to-do list! (0: Well... after much thought this is what we've come up with so far.



*Finish all the Office seasons (thank you Netflix)

*Meridian Hill Park on Sunday in DC AFRICAN DRUM CIRCLE (bring our own drums and join in)

*Go to the SMITHSONIAN (it sounds like we might be spending a full day here)

*Busch Garden day (here too)

*Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial

*Washington Memorial

*Lincoln Memorial

*WWII Memorial

*WHITE HOUSE (Preferably inside, but lets face it... a picture outside it will do)

*US Botanic Gardens

*National Archives (Declaration of Independence, Constitution, etc.)

*Arlington National Cemetery (To pay our dues)

*Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Wall

*Old Stone House (Last pre-revolutionary building standing on original foundation) in Georgetown

*National Gallery of Arts (Small French Paintings)

*"BIG CHAIR" Worlds largest seat in Ana Costia (Def. cant pass up on this one)

*Inner City Baltimore

*Mt. Vernon (Where George Washington lived)

*Gettysburg, Penn.

*Antietam battlefield in Maryland

*Tour of downtown Manassas (where we live)

*Visit Battle of Bull Run (preferably a live reenactment)

*The Pentagon

*National ZOO

*Ride the metro

*United State Treasury Bldg. (where they make money)

*Trip to NEW YORK!!!

*Wicked on Broadway

*Statute of Liberty

*Visit Serendipity for a frozen hot chocolate

*Central Park

*Empire State Bldg.

*Top of Rockefeller Plaza

*Times Square

*Wall Street

*Carnegie Hall

*Metropolitan Museum of Art

*GROUND ZERO

*Saks 5th Ave.

*Visit the Yates (Couple missionary from our mission)

*DC Temple (AS you can see from previous blog, we've already done this! FIRST CHECK ON THE TO-DO LIST)

*Weekend at Virginia Beach
